Alchemy Moon Launch title Leak….

Paul and I are very excited about the launch titles.

In this leak I would like to give you some sneaky peeks at the Alchemical Artifactum.

So what is the AA?

In a nutshell the AA are an alternative to the classic Rhine ESP cards.

…but they are so very much more than this.

Our original challenge was to produce an alternative to the classic 5 by 5 arrangement of the Rhine cards. The aim being to give the whole concept more depth and a new premise.

So with the AA you can perform and classic ESP card routine, but with a deeper and more mystical presentation.

‘You are thinking of a Circle’ can be replaced with a complex image forming in your mind and transmitted to the audience.

However, the concept of replacing simple shapes with complex imagery is only the start.

Each card is packed with symbolism and alchemical mystery. The cards mean something. The symbolism actually relates to a comprehensive system of western mysticism. This is not discussed at length in the AA itself as its focus is on magical performance. However, this allows you to present the cards in an authentic setting of genuine mystery.

In the AA we have related the symbolism to events in the inner and outer world of the person you are performing for. Therefor it can be used to relate the individual to the greater, metaphysical cycles.

‘As it is above, so it is below’.

For those who know, it is also a system of magick that can be used to alter reality in a very real sense.

What is of particular interest we think is that you can approach the AA on three different levels.

1. As a magical performer. You may be as skeptical as you like, in this realm, as the cards fulfill their role of creating effective magic in a flexible system. You may then convince your audience of the reality of true magick as a performance setting. You may well go off stage having had no experience of the magical universe. However, this may not be so true for your audience!

2. As a genuine tool for magikal work and experimentation. The symbolism of the cards are connected to a metaphysical reality, and therefore do possess the potential for effecting change on this level.

3. The third realm lies between the two above levels. The use of the cards should allow the practitioner to perform strong effects and draw from a deeper wellspring. It is within this twilight that the AA truly come into their own.

If you are a mystery entertainer, the AA will give you the opportunity to explore genuine mystery with your guests.
