“The Alchemy Moon Guide to Aging Gracefully”.

 

If Bizarre Magician love one thing, it is their aged props.

Gone are the days where an audience would be entertained by a rubber bat and a plastic skull. We need to be a lot more sophisticated these days. So most bizarre folk have learnt a technique or two about aging props.

So, if you are taking out a box and claiming that it is from medieval Europe – how do you make it look as if it IS?

If the diary belonging to your great grandfather is inspected by a historian of that period, will it pass muster.

Authenticity is everything – or is it? 

We on the Moon though it is time to investigate the issue.

But we want to do this in a totally novel way.

We want this to be a community resource. We think that the best way to achieve the best resource for the community is to get the community to write it!

Calling all dark Artists.

I have been talking to a lot of creative people recently.

There are obviously a lot of creative thinkers and clever tricky minds out there. However, there are also a lot of writers, artists, musicians, craftspeople and particularly photographers who travel the same path.

I am thinking that I would like Alchemy Moon to be somewhere where we can help promote the work of a broad range of creatives.

so, how can we help?

I am thinking of setting up a section called ‘The Dark Arts’ – here we can showcase individual pieces of work – or you can even have a free page to promote your work. All you need to do is send my a pm on the Wiki if you are interested.

(how about an ‘Are we Mad?’ section for art, photography, craft, music and creative writing.) – this could be interesting, no?
